My mum's getting on in years, and she lives alone. We were all a bit worried about her, especially at night. Then we got her a simple NZ personal alarm. It's just a button she wears, and if she falls or feels unwell, she presses it. A response team calls her and sends help if needed. She says just having it by her bed gives her so much peace of mind, and it's honestly cut my stress levels in half.
