After the last big storm, I noticed a few suspicious water stains on the ceiling of the upstairs hallway. I crawled into the attic this morning for a closer look, careful not to step through the insulation wrong, and found a small, steady drip coming from a seam near the chimney flashing. It's not a major gusher yet, but that steady water could lead to rot or mold if I don't patch the flashing and replace the damaged shingles around it soon.
